The loft conversion was part of a two storey extension to the rear of the property. The existing loft had been converted, but after re planning the existing loft rooms were demolished and a new format replaced it.
The main planning issue related to the two dormers to the front of the property, which the Local Planning Authority were not willing to support. The original Planning Application was then amended to keep the original flat roof dormer, after that amendment the Local Planning Authority granted consent. When the project was started we re applied for permission for the two front dormer windows and common sense prevailed.
As you can see from the project plans the scheme was quite comlex, but everything turned out well in the end.
