The existing buildings were two attached 3-storey office blocks which had been granted permission to convert into 8 flats.
We became involved at Building Regulation stage where we provided all the working drawings to convert this 3 storey building into four to accommodate the two flats per floor layout.
However the 2nd and the 3rd floor flats were essentially too small due to the rear annex being only two storey. We obtained permission to place another two storeys onto this part of the building and considerably extend the top four flats. This resulting conversion both enhanced the building and achieved much need 1 and 2 bedroom accommodation to the area.
