Kendal House

Kendal House

The existing property is a Victorian 4 storey, semi-detached house located in a very desirable area of West London. The new extension was designed to replace the existing single storey sub-standard annexes, and provide a new light and airy kitchen area.

The design provided a simple flat roof extension with parapet wall and feature brickwork that mirrored similar extensions in the area. The construction caused a small problem when it was established that part of the extension was located on the edge of a bomb crater provided with the compliments of the German Air Force in 1943!
