Doras Green
The existing dwelling is a large Edwardian detached house with a link-detached garage located within the countryside. The owner wished to demolish the existing double garage and replace with a larger and deeper garage that would also provide office accommodation on the first floor to enable the owner to work from home.
Due to the sensitive location of the extension within the countryside the design was strictly controlled. The result was a building with considerable accommodation that blended into the surrounding area.
