Manor Grove
The existing dwelling is a large post-war detached bungalow located within a large plot in a semi rural area.
The original scheme had been refused because of the objections to the dormer windows and the excessive size of the side / rear extension. The loft conversion was relatively simple with two steel beams running the length of the existing dwelling and load-bearing purlin walls being used to transfer the load of the roof to the new floor.
"we overcame objections in the planning stages to gain full approval for this sizeable loft conversion"
